Evolve KidsCare partners with community organizations to provide free, drop-in
childcare that supports families engaged in recovery—both at recovery-related
locations and through designated drop-in services—removing barriers so families
can remain focused on healing and community stability.

On-site childcare during recovery activities serves children ages 2–12 while parents remain on site. Drop-off childcare serves children ages 3–12 who are fully potty trained

Why Childcare Matters in Recovery?

Both parent and child wellbeing are negatively impacted when a parent is unable to regularly attend 12-step meetings where support is critical to sustaining sobriety. It is nothing less than learning a new way to live, to think and respond. When parents take children to an adult recovery meeting (a common occurrence), they are not able to fully concentrate, nor are other members of the group if children are disruptive.

■ Parents in recovery often face limited access to safe, affordable childcare, creating barriers to consistent participation in recovery activities.

■ When childcare is unavailable, parents may miss meetings, leave early, or disengage entirely..

■ Reliable, trusted childcare allows parents to focus on recovery while their children are safe, supported, and engaged.

■ Supporting the whole family strengthens long-term recovery outcomes and community stability.

Caring for Children While Families Heal

At Evolve KidsCare, children are cared for in warm,
welcoming environments designed to promote safety, connection, and
age-appropriate development. While parents participate in recovery activities,
children are free to play, learn, and build relationships in spaces that feel
consistent and supportive. Our approach centers on meeting children where they
are—so families can focus on healing together.
